jagzik Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Hi to everyone, I don't know if it's the right place to ask. I have some parts from a Yamaha A4000 sampler, i'm new in electronics but i follow the Midibox project and maybe one day i decide to start bulding a sequencer....anyway are these item usefull in some diy in general or midibox application ? I want to know if are usefull things to have for somethings diy, otherwise i can sell/exange them, so if can be usefull to anybody let me know. An AIEB2 yamaha I/O expansion board (6 out, 1 digital i/o, 1 optical i/o) was mounted od an A4000 sampler. The motherboard of the sampler, 4 ram banks (i don't know how many Kb), power parts. A SCSI CARD reader. SCSI/IDE adapter "Acard". I can post some photo if someone want. Bye. ...and sorry, the CARD reader is IDE and the adapter IDE/SCSI. Quote
ilmenator Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 I'd try to sell the parts on ebay. The AIEB2 can be used in other Yamaha equipment as well. It's very unlikely that you'll be able to re-use parts (apart from the obvious encoders, tact switches, power supply etc) in a MIDIbox DIY project. Quote
