audiomobster Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Interesting for people with smd skills. Latest MIOS Bootloader at time of writing installed. Screwed when removing a drop of tin solder with a soldering pump. Then I lost the SMD parts. Quote
Imp Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Maybe this helps to get it fixed: I just measured the resistance of your missing part (the one with the outline): it is 6,6K ohm while installed. If you measure between the pads, we could derive the proper value. I guess it's 10k. i couldn't get a proper value for the other part. I tried capacity and resistance. Does it work without these? ilmenator Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Isn't there documentation available that tells you what value C63 has? Then order the part at Reichelt, this is not a super miniature part, it is an easy fix! Quote
TK. Posted November 10, 2013 Report Posted November 10, 2013 Link to the schematic: http://www.embeddedartists.com/sites/default/files/docs/schematics/LPCXpressoLPC1769revB.pdf C63 is a 18pF cap Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
audiomobster Posted November 10, 2013 Author Report Posted November 10, 2013 Thanks guys, I'll see if I get it repaired. And yes it seems to work except that I get CRC errors on the network port. Quote
TK. Posted November 10, 2013 Report Posted November 10, 2013 C63 is part of the oscillator circuit of the Ethernet PHY - this explains why there are CRC errors (the PHY isn't clocked) Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
