Hello,

I would like to let beep my old 6581 (from the broken family's C64). I can do some soldering, but it was a long time ago (20-25 years). So I would prefer to find kits, with PCB's and boxes.

The sammischSID looks very cute! Do you know if it is still available?

Thank you very much.

Thank you for the reply.

I will go to the other way and build the official MB

I'm not an expert in serigraphies, but at least I will let my SID sound.

Hello,

I ordered kits and parts from Mike's and Volti's sites

I feel like I was at 14-15 :santa: (the years of Elex)

EDIT: and for serigraphs, I will use laser decal paper.

Hello,

The family's 6581 was dead, as was the C64 (electric shock from a desk lamp).

I got an other 6581 from eBay and I have a working minimal set-up:

The next step will be to build the full control surface and put all that stuff in a box (probably a C64 from a friend, so that I will have a stereo set-up)

BIG BIG THANKS to Thorsten who is so patient and answers to all my dumb questions !

In stand-by due to vacations, but the current status is

- 4 MBHP_CORE working

- 8 MBHP_SID and all MBHP_DIN and MBHP_DOUT soldered

To do:

- put cables betweel all of that

- build a power supply (there I still have a LOT of questions)

- build the control surface

Update: I got a C64 today, but its SID is dead : 1 voice produice a constant 440Hz sound... I swapped that SID with one other, and the sound is OK... so I need to get an other SID. I see there is one left in the Flearmarket :)
