So lately my sequencer has been crashing very intermittently and I can not reliably reproduce it. Every once in a while Ill be editing the port on a track and I will hit OSC4 and the machine will freeze, and nothing will fix it except a reboot. No error message. I can not make this happen when I try to reproduce. I have no ethernet cable hooked up. Also I am not positive that it is just OSC4 that causes or just a coincidence. I have no idea if its hardware or not. Any ideas where I can start?

Thanks,

Luke

Could you please give me your complete network configuration?

(enter "network" in MIOS Terminal, and copy&paste the output into this thread)

It doesn't matter if an ethernet cable is connected or not, I mainly need to know how which OSC protocol is selected for the different ports.

Maybe this helps me to reproduce the issue with some stress tests

Best Regards, Thorsten.

The deselected DHCP is unusual (but of course allowed - seems to be the parameter which causes the problem).

Could you please check if the crash can still be reproduced with DHCP enabled?

Then I would know where to start searching.

So when I try to turn DHCP on i get this notification: "MBHP_ETH not connected"

I am running an LPC17 core and have it fully populated. I have the jumper wires connected and when it boots I see one red flash. Seem like a hardware issue?

Thanks,

Luke

Everything ok!

I've to change the message - the LPC17 doesn't use the MBHP_ETH module.

And "not connected" means for LPC17, that no ethernet cable is connected.

Keep it unconnected for this check.

Best Regards, Thorsten.
