Synthy Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 I want to burn the 16f88 with my PicKit2 burner, but it will not read the hex file. Shuriken Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Yeah there is a small problem with the file. Remove the blank lines. Then it will be fine. Open it in notepad++ and use Edit>Line Operations> Remove empty lines. Or if you are handy with linux/osx then awk is your friend. I still get the message Error reading Hex file. I have downloaded it from the IIC page. Or if someone else knows what to do please reply.
