Any info on the HARDSID 4U?

Does anyone own one of these? or had any experience? 
I have an option to get one for $400 pick up which is cheaper than finding a sammichSID. 
And i don't want to construct anything. 

I've looked everywhere for the vst file, but i can't find it anywhere? 
Is there even recent vst support? x64? 

I'm just looking for a SID synth that i control via midi (usb will be fine).

If I were looking to buy a SID synth on a budget and couldn't find a sammichSID, I would be looking into a C64 with MSSIAH cartridge. Everything else is too unsupported, expensive, finicky, etc.

I used a 4u for a while.  Not supported very well, and it's not got as much flexibility as Mios... plus you're tied to a computer, which may or may not be an issue.  However, as as long as you're using XP, it should work ok.
