novski
Hi Does anybody have a idea how i cold get midibox buttons to send an F1-12 Key like if i hit my keyboard (that one thats typing this post through my fingers right now... ) maybe also through a RTP-Midi Module as well? :pirate: Sorry for those dumb questions, but if out there somewhere there is a solution or similar, please let me know... best regards novski
yogi
I would guess the only way would be to use a software to translate the midi In (on the PC) to a Key Press. There are some options out there, a Auto It script may work or something like GlovePie. Of course you would have to write the script for your own needs. The usual usage is to send Midi from a key stroke, but some of the softwares are flexible and may do the opposite. Yogi
novski
hey yogi. Thanks for that. I didn't try it until now but the documentation says something like it will work. :phone:
FantomXR
You should check "Bomes MIDI Translator". This program is really a big deal! It's not that expensive and does exactly what you want. I used it some time ago for assigning CMD+S to a MIDI Controller, to save the actual concert to the hard drive of the mac without using the keyboard.
novski
ah yea that looks a bit easier. I will test it soon. Thanks!
FantomXR
I just bought it (last time I used the demo) and it's awesome! Give it a try... You can even do some mouse-moving operations or executing files with a midi command. Powerful application.
