Looking for an MB6582 window

Anyone who got a spare window for MB6582?

I think a lot of people just used an exacto knife on a CD jewelcase and glued it to the inside of the panel.

The mb6582 panels are 1.5mm, so gluing over the screen hole at the rear of the panel will give a 1.5mm step, however, this also means that the edge of the screen does not need to be perfect at all - as it is not visible at all.

 

You could hack a bit of a CD case apart with a kitchen knife, and it would not matter, so long as you can make the clear section flush with the back of the panel.

I see. Just one question: Why didn't I think of this myself? :)

I can even cut a piece of real glass, dammit!

Can even 3d print myself a frame that will hold the glass. That way I could level the glass with the panel.
