Davo Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 I think this is probably a better place to ask this:According to Buchi, the SID is very sensitive to shorts on the audio out and that one should put an opamp buffer there to avoid destroying the chip. On the schematics for the SID module and Buchi's own device, I see no opamp at the audio output. What am I missing? Is the transistor there sufficient?
