Julian
hi...I'm toying around a little bit with c++ i want to write a little programm for the MBSIDbut I've encountered a little problem.A programm change is no problem... for example, when i send0x01C0my midibox changes to programm 2but when I want to send a CC my MB doesnt react...for example when I want to change the Waveform of OSC 1 I send0x0221B0I would expect my MB to change OSC 1 Waveform to SAW, but nothing happends besides a blinking MIDI In LEDdid I missunderstood something or wheres my fdailure?I'm very new to midi programming.best, julian
TK.
Hi Julian, how did you check if the CC are received by the MBSID?If you want to check the displayed value on the LCD, you have to enable edit mode, otherwise the control surface doesn't take these changes (this is for a non-destructive automation from a MIDI host)Best Regards, Thorsten. Julian
ah ok... :)do i just have to press the edit button to activate the edit mode?i think i just discovered my "edit" button doesnt work... haven't used it before. (the LED should light up when i press edit, shouldn't it? but it only flashes short when i turn on my MBSID... godda check my wiring)meanwhile I have checked my wires and it puzzles me!my DMM says all wires are connected as they should... but neither my edit LED is flashing, when there is something changed in a patch (but it lights up short, when i activate my MB), nor can I activate the edit mode or save changes by holding the edit button :(any ideas whaT could be the rerason for this behaviour?best, julian
