Linked cores

Is it possible to have two linked cores, both running different applications? Like one running 64e, and the other running the LC? Or do they have to match?

Hi,

You could just build the 2 different cores/apps. in one box; connecting via midi internally. Then (i think) you can also select midimerger or something in the apps. so they behave as one...but i'm not sure; read the info manuals of the apps you want to build; it's in there somewhere.

Yes I did, that led me to this question.  What I want is to build my current controller that I have planned, then eventually add a MBLC to my setup, but I just thought it would be nice to integrate them together via the midibox link. Im just still unsure as to whether you have to write a custom program or if you can just run the established applications in different combinations.
