1.) Mios1.8 uploaded.... What comes next to give best performance to test a single 1 core+sid? 

2.) what the best application to run 4x multi sid?

For a Sid there is no other app than the Sid app ;D

Sure - how would the PICs know what to to without software? It´s all written on the ucapps.de pages. Especially notice the section about Device IDs on http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_sid_csB.html
