Hi Thorsten,

did you change the member ranking in some way? I noticed that people below 50 posts got set back to the "newbie" status, which kind of irritates me  ???

I think now the rating is better. I'm still learning about midiboxes and was already getting a very high qualification which was way more than I deserved...

The old settings have been overwritten as I updated the forum software.

However, if more people don't agree with the default settings, I will change them. ;-)

Best Regards, Thorsten.

does it matter? some1 new to EE and this homebru lark (like me), could post alot (again, like me :P) and become a full member or whatever the tag line is...even if they are still technically a newb (like me), doesn't mean they know any more/less than any1 else - it's just about how much you post, be it questions or answers, or whatever...

anyway, the important stuff is the mbhp, not a ranking system to let everyone know how hot with a soldering iron u are...

my 2 pence

Don't worry,

leave it like it is now. As d2k says, the number of postings is not really relevant - maybe just a hint regarding the online time of each individual...  ;)
