Linearizing logaritmic pots

it's possible to linearize some of the analog inputs via software to attach some log pots?

You could map the analog value to a new value, similar to the way how it is done in analog_toolbox. But in general the results won't be good enough for serious work, because you will miss some values!

I think the hardware idea has come up here before, and the consensus was that it can only work the other way around (lin to log) with resistors. :'(

Maybe TK or someone would know if you could get a more "software cooperative" version of an audio log pot by adding something. (?)
