Silverfish
Hi. I'm beginning planning on my first Midibox project and was curious about the available functions for the buttons on the rotary encoders. Is it possible to use those buttons for functions such as "mute", "solo", or something similar, or is there a better use for them that I'm overlooking. I've been studying up on the Midibox projects for a while now and I have to say that this is quite an impressive community! Thanks for you time and answers! pay_c
I didn't use it, but the slow/fast function is cool for those Enc buttons, too. Pushing the Enc+ rotating = sweeping the range or stepping slowly.Greetz.
machinate
the usability of any midi controller depends very much on... the user. What hardware/software you use, which genres, mixing style (dub-style mixing, for instance) etc etc etc. I suggest that instead of looking at what a piece of hardware can do, try thinking about what you need for your system, and working from there.
