SID V1.7a BUG

hello...

after working for quite a while I found another bug in the midibox.

The Delay function for the OSCs isn't working anymore. (at least at my machine)

when i use a simple 'New Patch' and want to ad delay on an OSC, it just don't play at all anymore.

If a note is played and i move the encoder, the OSC doesnt respond to NOTE OFF signals -> infinite tone

on complex patterns its even worse. there it seems like using the delay encoder generates some kind of random patch so just crazy noize is coming out of the sid...

anybody else can confirm this behaviour?

further I'm not quite happy with the speed of the RANDOM LFO waveform.

It's much too fast... beyond a LFO SPEED of 10 or something its more like a noise modulation.

no nice, slow sample and hold like  modulations are possible.

besides that a great machine! i love it!

Hi Julian,

I know the anoying delay bug, it was fixed in one of the last v1.7303 releases. The interesting point is, that you are the first guy who reported this ;-)

Random function: you are absolutely right, random gets powerful with Sample&Hold, therefore I've added this feature to v1.7303beta12 -> http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=6098.0

Best Regards, Thorsten.
