Guest Flownezz Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 I'm not sure if this question has been posed yet, but is it possible to use the PIC18LF instead of the PIC18F??On another note - Is the Core design for the 18F the same as for the 16F? Quote
d2k Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 not sure on the first q, but i believe all that needs changin from the original core to the 18F version is to swap the 20MHz xtal for a 10Mhz one...bestDan Quote
TK. Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Yes, the PIC18LF452 is ok, it's nearly the same like a common PIC18F452, but the temperature range meets only the industrial conditions (-40°C .. 85°C instead of -40°C .. 125 °C). However, the PIC doesn't get hot like a pentium CPU, so don't hesitate to order this one! :)Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
