vix
Hii'v finished a Midibox CV box (with 1 AOUT_LC) and i can't access to menus : the 4 buttons don't seem to respond as wished, i can exit from idle mode, but then i can't modify parameters and navigate... i changed the Din reg, checked everything..i think i have a problem with my PIC (because i made a voltage mistake once, and i think a part of it is out of order)is it possible that the main part of my Pic works but not all the Pic ? (digital inputs can be destroyed ? ) i'v ordered a new pic, but i can't stay without trying... ;D
illogik
is it possible that the main part of my Pic works but not all the Pic ? Grinpossible, yes, i think with ic's in general it's more common to have a "half working" chip then a completely non working one, especially with somthing like a PIC which has a lot of sections.BUT!!i have found PIC's to be very vandal proof if you know what i mean, i have had shorts and other mistakes but i never destroyed a PICand since you say that exit button is working (you can exit and again enter idle mode?) i think you have a problem on your din board; (faulty 74HC165, shorts/opens, wireing, bad buttons) it is a serial connection so if exit works, i guess your fine at the PIC sidecheers, marcel
TK.
I also think that this is a problem with the DIN module - just use MIDIO128 and srio_interconnection_test for debuggingBest Regards, Thorsten.
