Guest stefan Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 I am not sure about the resistor r1 on the Core Modul. In the Reichelt-Orderlist is it listed as 100k.But in the Circuit and Schematic it is only named as 100 (?) Â I have now soldered an 100k resistor but I can only measure 2,5V on Pin MCLR.What is the right value ?
LO Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 HiI think it was 100ohms (not Kohms)Im at work at the moment so I can't check but if no-one else has replied I will let you know when I get home.LO ???
LO Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 Sorry forgot to check >:(Wrote myself a note to check tonite!
xt-rem Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 I soldered a 100Kohm, like in the partlistand it works fine. I will check my MCLR Value?!
TK. Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 Sorry, this was an error in the part list (fortunately the schematic, the PCB and the Reichelt ordernumber was correct) - it should be a 100 Ohm resistor. Btw.: the resistor just only opens the possibility to reset the PIC without a power-off by applying Vss to MRST# for a short moment. It's for my personal use ;-) --- instead of buying a new resistor, you can just bypass it (take a bridge and clamp the MRST# pin directly to +5V)Best Regards, Thorsten.
xt-rem Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 ...MCLR is about 5V with R1=100kohm....
Guest stefan Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 Ok I have now soldered a 100 Ohm Resistor and everything is alright. MCLR=5V ;D@xt-rem are you sure you have used 100 KOhm
