Hi there

I just got working my first Midibox Project, the SID Synth.

Now I was locking for a manual wich explains all the parameters of the SID menu (V1.7303b),

but I could only find an older version ('menu navigation' on control unit) of it on ucapps.com.

also on wiki I didn't find anything.

I've seen on changelog some explanations of parameters for the newer version,

but still missing some description of parameters.

Would be nice to have a proper operation manual ;)

If it doesn't exist but you also would like to have one, I will try to make a manual (best way to learn how it works, for me).

well, if it's worth to make it ... hopefully V2 is comming soon ...

cheers

Hi,

thats really a good starting point, I like the idea!

Could you please bring this into the Wiki? It would allow me and the others to replace the question marks by some informations w/o much effort, and the document would always be up-to-date! :)

A second one for MBSID V2 could be created later based on the manual of V1

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Morning!

Thanks e-toy! This is really a usefull handout for newbies like me. With a some more information/details it should grow to a real manual. Plus Images of the Front-Panels to each SID-Design  ;D

I just have added a link to a new page (MIDIbox SID V1 User Manual) here:

http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midibox_sid

Just login with your forum account, go to this page and press the edit button in order to enter the text.

Formatting is described here: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=syntax

If getting a proper layout is too difficult, just let it like it is (only enter text), and somebody else can take care about this

It's really easy - like posting in the forum.

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Done!  :)

I will try to improve it, but all you SID experts here, please contribute and let it grow to a proper manual  ;)
