Guest Da5id
I'm wondering what sources you people use for encoder knobs. Some of the projects on this site are knobless, ie bare shafts, but that seems rather barbaric to me :) So what's a good source for encoder knobs??? In the US?Also, what's available in the way of jog/shuttle assemblies? I've looked around a bit, and found encoders with a hollow shaft clearly designed for concentric applications, but I haven't found any prebuilt jog/shuttle setups. Any ideas?Oh, while I'm at it, where can I find nice, attractive pushbuttons? Thanks!
Steven_C
ask local suppliers, or the suppliers listed on Thorsten's site. As for the jog wheel.... I'm gonna get my bro to turn a knob up for me on the lathe at his work... maybe you could pull one from an old stereo.... The rest of the jog wheel is just a rotary encoder
