A, B, and Common.Phase A will be connected to Common 50% of the timePhase B will be connected to Common 50% of the timePhases A and B are 90 degrees out of phase.So...All three terminals will be shorted together 25%of the time.You can see that pattern on page 5 of the Alps datasheet.If my description matches your encoder, then it appearsto be working well.Good Luck,LyleHaze Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
