wattjunior
Hi there,Im part of a production/DJ arrangement and we are looking to take Ableton Live out from the studio into a live performance situation and are still struggling to find the perfect controller to suit our needs. We wondered if anyone had any ideas as to any custom built projects currently underway or felt like assisting us in the design of one? To date we liked some of the ideas of the designs shocased here: we are particularly impressed by Richie Hawtins design but we are certain a better system is out there:http://www.doepfer.de/pe.htmAnyway im sure this is old hat to a lot of you but we are very keen to find the perfect system, please get in touch if you think you have any ideas,John WThe Group Dynamicwww.thegroupdynamic.com
dj3nk
Why ideas ? I think you found the perfect place here to realize your wishes. Midibox is a modular system. You will need at least a core module and one ain and a din to control potentiometers and pushbuttons or triggers. Just look around this page and you see the power of full customizable midiboxes :D Or do you search someone who builds your controller for you ? Making money out of midiboxes isnt allowed by Thorsten Klose (owner of this page) so first you have to ask TK for a "sell-permission". But if you are just medium skilled in soldering it shouldnt be a big prob. The community will help you as much it can.greetz
