lief138 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Hooray! A few of you know that i have been building my home heating system from a pallet load of parts for the last long long time...... The pallet arriver 5.5 months ago *whack* Hoooray Finally today I turned on my system and produced wonderful warmth. So glorious.... forced hot water, pex, cast iron radiators, indirect fired hot water heater, Bianchi manifolds.grunfos pumps.triangle tube boiler... shiny brass and copper.... heck it even has a couple leds that occasionally flash. I think i need to make it midi controlled now....err I know this has nothing to do with midibox... but it is DIY, although he inspector doesn't know that. If anyone is even slightly interested Ill go down there and take a picture or two.I felt like sharing. So there!Hoorrrayy! PS hire a plumber I am sure the plumber could have done it in a couple days... :)Lief
bugfight Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 ...PS hire a plumber I am sure the plumber could have done it in a couple days... :)...especially, for example, when you realize (as i did) that the "useless" extra bit of pipe that you removed was there to dampen the water hammer effect...*whack*some lessons are more expensive than others...congrats on the homebrew though, let's see it then.
