Hi Andy, Happy New year! Must be a good year because the first thing i tried from you list was to connect the midiphy with usb not via the mac but via the power outlet and goodbye noise. It felt like the episode in breaking bad caching the fly in the meth lab Thanks again for the help and now for me time to clean up the mess i made in my room finding the issue ;-) Cheers, Niels
