Hi, since im very happy with my new synth and playing it a lot, i noticed noise in the audio. @first i thought it was the fan making noise so i put in a 7805 for the fan and switched her power to j25, Still the noise stayed readreadread you know and now i think its the psu. Well i happen to have an amiga 500 psu readread etc.should be a good alternative. is it just possible to feed the amiga 12vdc power into the powerplug on the mb6582?? because it get's regulated anyway? i builded it to words an c64 psu , or is it better to build an totally new psu? Thanx! ps:(its an heavy 5v/2.5 amp amiga supply so i geuss it linear) :rolleyes: Hans

for the record : These are my own words when elektruck was present and helping me with the firmware upload, Luckily i had socketed the led resistors and went for the 1k instead of 220 ohms. So now next time elektruck visits me he can take off his sunglasses. Some warmth for elektruck since the :baby: forces him to move his studio to a cold shed. ;)

:) thnx everyone @elektruck :hehe been fixed the day after it gave u welder's conjunctivitis ;) also replaced the sync led thinking it was broken,after some reading i guess it doesn't light up in the firmware right? :) peace!

The panels are from Julianf (recommended) Sids from c64 doners:) Used the 5v6 zener/triac crowbar to avoid horror. lovely lcd from poland(ebay) Next to do is taking the fan out off the 5v line, add an 7805 for it on the extra perfboard and feeding it with dc from before the rectifier. trying to figure out the options for the external connector (ssm2044 or something like that) and add different knobs because these ones are not mine:) and ofcourse make some music with it!! :heart:

@roel hans hier:) toch maar een nieuw lcd gekocht had hem gewoon verkeerd om en gekilld dus. net jb weld actie staat nu te drogen. spannend allemaal:)

Hoi allemaal, Ik ben momenteel een mb6852 in elkaar aan het zetten. alles zit erop nu nog de lcd aan de praat krijgen(hopelijk met negative voltage en een triac crowbar voor de 5v protectie. leuke hobby:P groetjes !! @Roel:ben blij dat je het overleeft hebt:)!!
