Hello, everyone, I am nearing the end of the assembly of my midibox but I admit to be stuck at the second test (32. LeMEC: Testing DIN Switch Function). With the Lemec card connected, the kernel does not boot at all (no activity leds etc...), I also noticed that IC5 becomes burning hot in few seconds. I proceeded by elimination by checking the welds / cables and testing without the top card without success. I cross my fingers to get some help, thanks in advance!

my issue is solved, i simply forget to solder R33A on the core pcb , everything is perfect now,

Allo Houston, we have a problem !! I just finished the JA pcb, and started the test phase. - Installing Midibox NG : ok - Loading seq_l : ok - Set debug on : ok tests: no answer ! no button works and no LED reacts. I started by checking if I didn't make a mistake with the cables and in the resistance network but , everything seems correct, no visible solder bridge either (or maybe i missed something). However, I noticed that the ICs get very hot during the test. Apart from that, I admit I don't know where to start verifications. Here are the pictures of the pcb. Thank you in advance for your help:) (yes the pins near matrix are soldered upside down (ourgl), going to correct that with my hot air station ^^)

Merci @Antichambre !, did you use specific led with your mec ? i was about to choose standard 3mm 3.3v led rated for 5000mcd, is it enough bright for this kind of caps ? sorry for my my noob questions ;)

Hi there :) , I was about to order the seqv4+ Bom but at mouser they dont have anymore the needed mec switches. i was about to make the same button mod as antichambre (love the black caps) with 5GTH920 but they dont have them also ,argg no chance for me ! do you know any other place where i can order them ? (in europe as i'm from france) thanks by advance !
