Seems like one of my SIDs working just perfect (6581)and one of them (the one thats hot)dont works with the cutoff filters, got the same sound)....... ??? Christoffer

My Dc transformer get like 16,50 V= and I supply the SID and the core. Is that wrong? Discover that its works just fine but after a while the SID start to hang up, and dont response at all! Hmmmmm!!Somethings wrong I suppose.. :-/ :( Christoffer

Hi! Im not sure but I think you have the same MIDI channel on both SIDs so they respond at the same time and simply pan them left and right, I dont think they can have this flanger type of sound (when the sounds goes from left to right)..... ??? I have them in mono, I simply put my DigiTech TSR-12 multi effect on the mono signal and there I got the cooool sounds in stereo. ;) Take care! Christoffer

Hi there! Got a small problem with the JDM. When I should burn the PIC16F877 it fails the first time, but when I tried the second time it worked just fine.... ??? (Same with both of my PICs...) Not a big problem but I just want to know why. Christoffer

Ok I will try that. Is the Extended MIDI In and the MIDI thru on the outerpins an common thing on all MIDI interfaces? The picture on your SIDs you have only the 15V input. Isnt 15V too much for the CORE? Or did you hide the 7V on the back?? ;) Christoffer

Hmmm. Think I understand...... If I connect the MI serial to the MI on the second I disconnect the optocoupler on the second (and the third)CORE? How did you (Thorsten)connect the stereo SID? Think I have to try.. ;).. Christoffer

Hi there! Hopefully I got 2 C64 tomorrow.(Hope its the 6581!) ;D. I already got 1 with the 8580.working fine!!!!! My first question to Thorsten: It is worth waiting for the Pic 18F and then build it?? Dont want to order The pic 16f877 if the 18F system is on this side of the year.. ;D Has anyone found an pic burner for the Pic18F ??? Dont want to buy the Picstarter kit (too expensive!) My second question: How can I connect them together? as one synth with diffrent Midi channel. Can I add an ltc module and get the Midi through, and then connect them in serial (MIDI) on the same Midi interface?? Peace! Christoffer

I Get the computer MIDI OUT to M64 MIDI IN and the OUT to the SID working fine but not the M64 must I have an Merger or Independent MIDI interface for the SID?? Seems like the SID not sending MIDI info from the M64. Peace! Christoffer

Hi there!! Just playing around with my SID its sooooo cooool!! ;D Just a few questions about the logic env. Im not into Hex or Bit.. For example the waveform parameters you got 8 zeroes. if i turn it to: 00000001 is that the same as Bit 0:Triangle and if i got 00000010 is that bit 1:saw ?? The example in the txt file you got an example 05h = 5 = triangle & pulse how i turn that into logic env.?? Thanks! Christoffer

Just finished my M64, now Im back to the life again!! ;D Just a few questions: 1:I got 20 button (exept the menu button) only 16 of the working(sending midi and so on) 2:When I got that thing can I assign the leds to it?? 3:Does any one know how to send midi event from Logic 5.2 softsynth like es2 and so on... 4:Ok, if I cant do that how can I get the midi number from all the events?? Hmmm! Solved one problem! Seems like bad soldering on the AINX4, the J6 wasnt OK!!! ;D But I still got problem with the second AINX and the rest of the 32 pots! Think I have to use the J7 for the power.. Right?? Christoffer

just did the test prog for the ainx * 2 and its seems like some pots dont work at all an some switch between 2-4 diffrent pot numbers like 56-60 for an example.... :-[ Christoffer
