When I open an project in MPLAB For example the MIDIbox TC.mcp, I got an error message:File Not Found. The file"C:\linux-mirror\pic\projects\mios_apps\midibox_tc\MIDIbox TC.mcp"does not exist. Hmmm anyone know whats wrong? Thanks Christoffer

Hmm! Jag har beställt ifrån RS-Components,Farnell och från ELFA... Farnell är dom enda som har PIC16f877-20 men beställ samples från microchip(Det har jag gjort med possitivt resultat ;) ) Men en sak som jag vet nu efter ett tag.. ;) är:när man beställer 100st motstånd är det ungefär lika dyrt som beställa 10st) sen är det alltid bra att ha hemma när lusten faller på att bygga en ny SID..... ;D Men jag tog dom flesta grejor på mitt jobb så det var aldrig något problem med faktureringen... ;D RS-var dom enda som hade ALPS reglar som var 100mm(ej motor). Så det var lite jobb att beställa men det var det värt!! MVH Christoffer

Jo då! Jag har byggt 1 st M64 och 3st SIDar... ;D Ska ev.bygga en LC clone vet ej riktigt..(beroende på vad kostnaden blir ..med motorreglar osv...) Men näst på tur ligger 1st SID till samt SID controller... ;D ;D MVH Christoffer

I think so.. But if you want an LCD display you must have the 4 buttons for the menu.(Left,Right,Exec and snapshot), and then you need the DINX Christoffer

In conclusion, Should I go for the Panasonic or the ALPS, is it worth the price difference? I don't think the panasonic MF's are bad quality? or are they?? Christoffer

Hi there! Can I program the PIC18F452 with the SID v1.4 or must it be an spec. HEX code for the 18F? Since Im out of the PIC16F (after my PIC Smack!!) ;) Love this project! ;D Christoffer

Question about the new control surface: Must I have the 18F452 on all Sids or can I have the good old 16F877 on the second,3,4,5,6 and so on?? Christoffer

Question about JSynth.... How can I use the editor with my 3 sids (soon 4)on the same time without go via the config and change the midi channel???? Or is that impossible? Christoffer

Changed the cap 2200uf/16V and the 74HC595 and Burned the new PIC16F877A and its works..... Learning from misstake!! :-/ Christoffer

Ohhh Nooo!!!!! >:( Stupid me!! Just Insert the power cable on the core to the 5V output and BANG!!!!! Damn it! Seems like the pic isnt there any more R.I.P Tried to program it but that doesnt work. I Changed the 7805 and then I got 5V again .And the SID 6581 seems to work (put that one into another CORE-SID). Now to my problem! >:( I got 5V on the core and the sid.OK. But when I put the SID into the socket the 5V drops to ca 2V does any one know what else I got to change, the electro caps for an example and I wonder if I smack the 74HC595 too..... Hi there! Just cannibalized an card reader with an Seiko 16*2 display with el backlit works just fine!( for my SIDs) Take a while for me to understand why the backlit doesent work (Took a look at the cardreader pcb an saw the dc/ac converter! ;) ). Here is my question:Can I use it? or can I damage the the core with the el backlit (seems to work). Thanks! Christoffer
