Hello All, It's been a while since my last post. I am in the process of making an application to interface piezo triggers to MIOS. The triggers will be connected to a modified version of the analog side of admir's circuit. This circuit is complete and in the testing phase, and I am now working on the code. The application will be released as a stand alone application first and then I will attempt to implement it into the MB64 code,so the triggers can replace some of the pots.If anyone has interests or ideas please let me know.

true work of art!! super examples of the awesome flexibility of mbhp and mios!!!!!! keep up the good work. -
good idea, I am also exploring the possibilities of molding silicone, to make custom buttons/pads for a sampler type trigger unit i am trying to port to mios.I'll post any results asap.

i have started a trigger to midi converter for mios. the code should be able to be pasted into the mb64 code to change some of the pots to trigger inputs.More on this later. -
Help with Macros and instructions
drumwide replied to drumwide's topic in MIOS programming (Assembler)
thanks you guys, I think I got it figured out, at least partially. the binary thing helped me on the (and) and (or) stuff. And the instruction set for pic showed exactly what the macros were doing,I was just overlooking the compare instructions. Thanks again, much appreciation -
Hello, I am trying to scan the ain for peak voltage before sending midi information and I am having trouble understanding these macros and instructions.Any help is appreciated andlw.....I don't understand and xorlw......I don't understand exclusive or IFNEQ does this mean not equal IFLEQ does this mean (less than equal) or (less than or equal to) IFGEQ does this mean (greater than equal) or (greater than or equal to) I appologize for the newbie questions, but I guess there is only one way to learn, Thanks in advance for any help.

The biggest drum triggers module ever :)
drumwide replied to a topic in MIOS programming (Assembler)
I've been searching for a way to build my own drum module and ended up with the e-drum as my only option. But I too want to build a module with MIOS.so I can connect more triggers and also use the digital side for trigger loops.Doesn't seem like it would be impossible but I don't have any programming experience.(yet) ;D Let's get something going on this. -
hello everyone, I've got  the first .brd file from pilo and I have been trying to modify it for balanced operation.I have ordered parts frome Texas Instruments:         Balanced Line Receiver:     INA134PA         Analog- Digital Conversion:   PCM1804DB         Digital -Analog Conversion:   PCM1737E         Balanced Line Driver:     DRV134PA if you all are using different parts please let me know. When you guys decide on what parts you will use please let me know so I can order the same parts you do, so correspondence of development will be easier. and also if you guys get new schematics will you let me know or pass them on to me through email?thanx

I would like to donate some money too.The pay pal idea sounds pretty good.
-
hey thanks pilo, go ahead and send it ot me so I can start getting parts ready and when I see everything is ok I'll build. I will send you a private message with my email addresss. thanks again.Maybe i can help test it.

Thanks so much, gillesdeshays. I appreciate you guys taking time to answer my, newbie, questions. You all have helped me so much too understand more about electronics, programming, analog and digital audio. I hope someday I can return the favor. keep up the good work ;D

great idea!!!!!!!!! keep up the good work. Before long I will have a complete midibox studio.....

hey you guys are awesome, I've been researching parts and stuff to build a cheap adc possibly to adat interface. And I check in on the midibox site and its been here all along. Anyway I was wondering if you all could let me know where to get the eagle files talked about earlier in this thread. And any text info I can dl.I am not a programmer or an engineer but only a musician on a budget, with a will to learn.Any thing I might can help you all with let me know. Testing or anything. I am purchasing Sblive cards as I am writing this via ebay. So can I get 8 dig. i/o per card or 16? Also is the highest resolution 16/44.1 or 24/96?Thanks and I look forward to (hopefully) contributing something to this project. ;D ;D ;D ;D :-X

I am using a PIC18f452I/P with bootstrap loader v1.1 verified. when i turn on the core the lcd backlight comes on but it doesn't send the sysex request for mios.Nothing displayed on lcd, but if i turn contrast up I get black boxes. I need to know what to do to get mios loaded.
