Heya! My usb module still doesn´t work..but is another history. I`m using a Native Instruments` program called Traktor for Dj mixing,but i have a problem.In this program ther is a button called Loop that seems to work in toggle mode,and in my midibox64 i have a button in toggle mode with a led.The problem is that it doesnt work properly,it fails sometimes.i have try with a button in on/off mode and it work fine..but i need a led to see when loop is active..do you understand? I want know if i can set a button to on/off mode and his led to toggle mode. is it posible? another suggestions? thanks!

hi! my machine is a midibox64,mios 1.5b and midibox64V2.2 Bank stick works ok in another midibox..but not in my.midi box dettect it but...it doesnt store anything thanks

I measure 5,12 " It must be ok.Is a little diference.Are you sure that the + and-  conections of BL are ok?Maybe are reversed? Hi! Excuse me for being so heavy..but i´m having problems conecting core to usb module.i have pluged in optoacoupler of core,and conect male midi conector to j12 and j13 like say the schemattics.I conect midi out conector to usb module midi in socket and midi in conector to midi out socket...but it doesnt work... But..if i change the order of wires(2 to 4 and 4 to 2) it works. Is this ok? Another thing: if i sysex trought usb it happens the same thing like when i have incorrect software,midibox get loaded with an incorrect configuration,like corrupted. Any suggestions Thorsten? Thanks.

hola. estoy deseperado me funcionaba genial con el puerto de juegos,pero hice el modulo usb y no cargaba midi..le llega corrompido o asi. pero ahora resulta q ocurre lo mismo con el puerto de juegos..le cargo conhiguraciones normales y me aparecen metaeventos y cosas q yo no meto...no se q puede ser porque va directo al core y alli no he tocado nada... espero tu respuesta!

ok..this is amazing..now i cant sysex using gameport :'( It happens the same...seems to be sysex and all ok but...with corrupt data....now core seems to be wrong.. It happens de same that occurs with usb module..and i have notice that midi data sending with pc comes to midi in ..but all is setting ok!! i dont know what to do!! i thinking about destroy all!!! please help! i´m going crazy!!

hi. i have tried without success conecting midi box trought midi conectors of usb module. this is what i have do: i take midi signals from J11. I put ground in pin3 and MI in pin2 of one midi conector. I put ground in pin3 and MO in pin4 of other midi con. Is that okis? Can anyone say me de correct way for connecting? thanks

ok...i´ll try this tonight.. but..what pins do i have to connect to midi in conector and midi out..and where!!they use similar pins sometimes!!! thanks

Hi i have use midibox64.syx file but it happens de same thing.....it is very extrange..it looks like midibox receive the same data!!! i´m going to connect externally trought midi conectors...but....i dont known how to do it!! i have only three pins comming from core..and midi in conector use 2 and midi out conector use 3.....how do i do it??

Yes,i try it at 1oob/sec but nothing.... Today i have tried a lot of settings but or nothing happens or my midibox get loaded with a wrong configuration(with a lot of metaevents,no toggle buttons....like now). I dont know what more do.A lot of times it seems to be ok..it says "Receiving sysex dump".....and after this,,"sysex dump complete"...but not with the correct data..i see.... any solutions? maybe any component on usb module could be wrong and is doing some type of interference? thanks. More: i usb module is powered by usb conector. i have notice that if i only plug in usb cable(not midibox power),some leds have a little bright,the same who works when i turn on midibox....it looks like the core get power trought midi wires...is that ok? thanks again

heya! im using windows millenium. I also tried it with Vmidibox with 100b/sec but it doesnt works and blocked my midibox. with which parameters can i play in MidiOx to debuging? If my midi box get blocked again...can i upload mios with primary bootloader using usb? thanks.

HI! nothing happens.....no Receiving Sysex dump message appears......only one time appears midi timeout ..and my notebook get blocked with blue screen...... any sugestions?

ok,excuse me!! lets see! My midi box64 works fine with gameport,but i need use it with my handbook,so i have done usb module. ok,usb module is detected as usb audio device,fine!,and midi out of midibox goes perfectly trought usb(i can control my sequencer). But when i try to change midibox configuration(i.e.button mode.etc..)with Vmidibox,something extrange happens: in Lcd you can read "REceiving Sysex dump"..thats ok.....then "Sysex Dump complete"...ok too....but midibox get crazy!!...i will explain it,configuration that i send is that:pots mode normal,with diferents CCs,buttons from 1 to 18 in toggle mode,with differents CCs,midimerger off and navigation menu off.But after trying to sysex a new configuration,pots send metaevents,buttons send notes and navigation menu is active and some options name are missed. It looks that midi signal from pc comming trought usb arrives to midibox in wrong state....and midibox get like "freezed" and only can restore it with gameport cable and a lot of tries. Thaks all. I have connected core module to usb module: Mi to MO and viceversa and ground pin.Powered from usb. OPtoacouplers not stuffed. i hope someone can help me ,,and excuse me for my bad english and being too heavy!!

hi thorsten! i use Vmidibox to sysex.there i only can change speed tunning (to 120) and althought it says sysex dump is complete....that´s not true! all configuration are wrong! so....what can i do?must be an usb module failure? it seems that midi data arrives wrong..

Heya! thanks pay_c! i think i have try that...but i´ll try again.. i have chech core with game port and it still goes ok...i wonder if a can say the same about usb module... otherwise...what component should be cooked with that short?? see you again!
