Closed and as nobody participated here I deleted the list.
You shall not know the quantities. :P
-
(= etwas unter 1 US $ Nettopreis).
Ab 500 Stück liegt der Nettpopreis bei ca. 0,81 US $.
Die Deadline liegt innerhalb Deutschlands beim 1. Februar 2007.

Updated the list.
The encoder types now cost less than 1 US $!

Hi there,
on may,25-27th 2007 there will the second "Happy Knobbing" in Germany which is a gathering of analog hardware modular synth users.
Only people who come with an analog modular synth will get in there,
e.g. no Clavia G2!
For more information have a look at:
http://www.sequencer.de/synth/index.php/Happy_Knobbing
(This page will be updated regularly when more details will be definite)
I don't know if there are many analog modular synth users here but it maybe of interest. The last time there were many DIY systems!
-
On request I've moved the deadline to the 1st february.
The current list:
Gesamt:
Moog-Style knobs:
7601 x 500
7602 x 1240
7603 x 70
7607 x 290
Encoder-Style:
7203 x 200
7206 x 10
Others:
7292 x 5
7626 x 34
7657 x 30 (like 7607 but without an aluminium inlay)
For the 7203 we only need someone who orders additional 50 pieces and they will cost less
than 1 US $!

Bei mir dauert alles was länger. :(
-
Still no interests?
The groupbuy starts in ca. 1 month.
-
-
PSU = Netzteil
Jetzt klar? :P
-
@jeffreybln:
Versandkosten betragen 1,45 Euro + 0,25 Euro für nen neuen,
gepolsterten Briefumschlag. (Reicht auf jeden Fall für bis 6 Platinen,
mehr hatte ich bisher nicht "getestet")
@TK:
http://www.sdiy.de/projects/miniPSU/miniPSU-Doku-Rev-a.pdf

@pay.c:
-------------------------
@dj3nk:
http://www.abacom-online.de/html/frontdesigner.html

Ah, ok, I think this is really are bad place for groupbuys.
I won't try it anymore. :(
-
Can you find the shunt too?
No, but AFAIK there are replacements for this (not 1-to-1).
I think one of them is the LM-385, but so far I've not builded any MIDIbox project
so I don't have any experience with them by myself.
@samples:
I see: If everybody is ordering samples, no one will be interested in groupbuys for this chip.
That's no problem if you need only 2 chips.
-
Is no one here interested in these knobs?
Currently we are 820 pieces for the Minimoog-style knob and
180 pieces for the Pointer knob which makes a fairly good price of less than 1 US $ for the "normal" knob and less than 2 US $
for the Pointer.
The encoder knobs (7202 or 7203) will cost less than 1 US $, when more than 250 pieces are ordered. I myself will order at least 100 pieces,
so this should be no big problem.
The "jog shuttle" knob (7206) will cost less than 3 US $ pp at 50 pieces and more. (I will take 10)
Links are here:
7602 (Minimoog style):
http://www.cosmocorp.com/en/kp-handler.cfm?CAT=R&SUBCAT=1&KN=2&SRC=15
7607 (Pointer):
http://www.cosmocorp.com/en/kp-handler.cfm?CAT=S&SUBCAT=3&KN=2&src=15
Encoder knobs (I requested prices quotes for 7202, 7203 and 7206):
http://www.cosmocorp.com/en/kp-handler.cfm?cat=G&subcat=1&target=1&src=16
[Common guys :) or is this really such a bad forum for groupbuys?]
-
I've looked a bit around and found the following prices for the MAX525 at de.digikey.com:
MAX525BCPP+
1+ 29.56000
25+ 22.30440
50+ 19.30820
100+ 14.30170
Prices are in Euro without VAT / Shipping costs.
Has anyone found better prices?
When we do a groupbuy and reach the 100 pieces breakthrough this would mean
ca. 17 Euro for one MAX525 including 16% german VAT (19% in 2007!).
-
In january I will start a groupbuy for knob from the Cosmo Corporation.
The main part will be Moog-like knobs (incl. the pointer knob) which I think
is not really of interest here.
But they also have good knobs for Encoders (without a marking line):
7202
7203
and for a kind of jog shuttle (e.g. for the SEQ):
7206
All encoder types can be found here:
http://www.cosmocorp.com/en/kp-handler.cfm?cat=G&subcat=1&target=1&src=16
Or if the link doesn't work: Go the to the knob online catalog and do
a search for the part number.
I'm currently requesting quotes for that type of knobs.
-
-
I'm currently waiting for 2 cases for my Gssl-Project to test the quality of Purusha's cases.
Got them today.
Fantastic. Love them.
-
I... don't think too many people would be etching them, as a blank board of that size is pretty expensive, and most people would have difficulty just printing a proper transparency for exposing it. Also, I don't know where one would find blank boards that wide... Then again, I might not be looking in the right places.
Thanks, you're giving me an argument for modular PCB's. :P
As I said previously I want to do it the modular way.
Another advantage is that you can use some of the PCBs also for other similar
projects.
But it will take some time. I don't expect first showable results this year
because I have many other projects.
