About source code not being available, that's very sad. About expecting, I expect nothing, only said about if possible to play other SID formats on MIDIBOX sid. About a new sidplayer supporting the SIDstation protocol, I know you aren't one interested on that so I don't asked you that :)

I don't talked about SIDstation. I talk about those SID formats and being supported to be played on midibox SID :) What do you mean then? I was talked to the names of many SID music players but without reply here or to my email :(

Its possible on the midibox sid aving two 6581 and two 8580, and use them like one big synth, taking the advantages of the different types and use them just like one big synth but configurable? What about doing in a future a midibox sid board with the four sid in one board? I mean a big board with the four SIDs on it, a more solid board instead a lot of wires for connect them.

What about using a PIC+DAC-DSP+ASP (analog signal processor)? This combination could be perfect for doing most of sounds out there, even SID-like ones, and I hope there exists some combination of DSP and DAC, no? Probably I'm wrong... What about this, it sounds interesting!

I consider some aspects: - It's true that jamram selled copyrighted stuff, very probably it can be illegal. - Getting IC stuff for free from companies is a bit crap. Sell them (and say it when you are selling it and spreading on a forum) is the most stupid act, please think about that. - Selling stuff without knowing before if it's illegal do it is a stupid attitude, be more careful. - Doing the MIDIBOX project not possible to sell it comercially is the biggest error in the world. It's true that if simply only abling to anyone do it and sell it winning money is crap, but if the project is only for geek people that know how use electronic boards and doing his own electronic stuff the userbase will be too low, an elitist thinking I think. Better do this: Make the MIDIBOX Foundation (a non-profit organization). Change the hardware licenses to one GPL-like but able to sell it comercially only if giving 10% of benefits to the MIDIBOX Foundation. This will make MIDIBOX easier to get it and money for doing the MIDIBOX even better and a lot more resources for development. Please think about all this, MIDIBOX being a geek project forever can kill itself.

Any news about "super poly mode" on SID? It sounds quite interesting for me, I want it!

What about MIDIbox FM 2.0 with OPL4? Since OPL4 has all OPL3 "inside", it's like having OPL3 with extra stuff (wavetable and all that...)

AtariVox, interesting retro-device! ;) This device can talk other languages like spanish, brazillian, japanese, chinese...? This remember me to the say command in AmigaOS 1.3 and the Alan UNO spanish program, a mix between good AI program a game ;) MIDIBOX speakjet? That could be AWESOME, go for it please! ;)

What about a module named MIDIBOX SD? With a SD reader/writer included, having a big storage capacity on it for samples, various midi files and more. I think that this can be built-in into the midibox core, then midibox will can play midi files and other kinds of files, a lot more samples...

It could be really nice if MIDIBOX can have a SP/DIF outpud, and then have a really professional audio output without quality loss. Better for grab it without need of professional analog stuff.
