It takes a bit to grasp the basics of Midiboxing, you need to read more.
MB64 has some better functions for pots handling while MIDIO128 is fully exploiting the i/o capabilities of the hardware/software.This is not enough.
MBs can be connected in different ways depending on what you are trying to achieve, try to be more precise about this.

fuse? as long as you don t have a maxi MBLC with lots of LCDs and motorfader you may skip the fuse thing.
Otherwise you just need to calcultate how much current you are drawing example:
(some random numbers here)
lcd= 200mA
core=50mA
i/o chain= 200mA
tot= 450mA
let s make it in power= 450mA x 5v =2250mW
let s calculate current for 220volts (europe): 2250mW/220v = 10mA
Take it double, you need a 20mA fuse!
The fuse should go between switch and main

Qui dice che gli encoders sono mappati da due valori, uno - SR - indica lo shift register (74165) , l'altro indica il pin dello shift register , poi viene specificato se e' detented o meno.e evidente che

La voce da modificare dovrebbe essere la prima dell'esempio, devo impostare l'osc pwm al posto dell'osc delay immagino ci sia da modificare i valori "SR" e "Pin"corretto? sono sulla strada giusta?

why would i need to recompile? don't I have to open it up in wordpad, edit it, and save it? then I just upload the hex file.
errr... yes you need
are you expecting the .hex file to update magically by itself? Just have a look at the creating date of the file, you ll see it hasn t changed and it s probably older than the files you changed.
Also if you are using mios studio, you ll be warned that the new hex file has changed since the last upload.
There is plenty of info about how to compile and create new hex files.

ignoranza nel campo programmazione (che tra l'altro condivido con te) non ti esime dal leggere attentamente e piu volte la documentazione, cosa che non hai fatto ovviamente visto la domanda.
Immagino che sarai scappato gritando quando avresti dovuto leggere il codice sorgente della applicazione MBSID V2. Dentro del codice ci sono commenti (in inglese semplicissimo) che ti aiutano a capire le varie funzioni.
Mentre creare del codice nuovo richiede una conoscenza approfondita, cambiare il codice presente richiede solo pazienza ed un minimo di EEC attivo.
Avrai bisogno di installare la tool-chain di programmazione, guarda nella wiki.
Io personalmente non so la risposta diretta alla tua domanda.
Sei hai problemi con l'inglese scrivi qua e vedremo che si puo fare.

No need for a midi merger, but don t forget that with this solution the envelope would be completely independent from the menu and MBSID V2 expects nrpn messages.

Di solito con questo tipo di switch il tasto non viene collegato meccanicamente, è solo appoggiato in cima allo switch e trattenuto dal buco nel pannello frontale. A volte i tasti vengono in una matrice fissata alla pcb sopra agli switch.

I have some ideas about new HUI that will be cool for share with these opensource community but I'm afraid to post them and Akai or some other corps copy our ideas (and sell them without nothing for us like thanks or piece of cake xDDD)

i would buy a security vault, hire a private guard, brick the entrance and electroshock myself to forget everything

Another "easy" way out could be adding a MB64 to the box to send the proper messages to the MBSID, no need to change code/hardware and remember that a core can support up to 8 AINs without extra hardware.Consider also the nice features that MB64 has to offer with the soft-take over function and likesuchases.

not 100%, i wanted to have the load between GND and EMITTER but it seems like i need a pnp transistor or some other kind of circuit. With this schem you have to isolate every single transistor cause the body (TO3) is COLLECTOR. Other little detail is that i have to connect the chassis to + and not to GND.

Good news, using a 2n2222 instead of bc547 is giving far better results

Ok we are kinda desperate and will offer 30 EURO for a working circuit if sent within 24 hours, it has to trigger around 70W of power from DOUT to a 2n3055.
I am looking for help locally so consider that i may find an answer here before sending me any offer.
