  1. Carnival comes closer and i can t just finish my older projects without starting a new one: I am going to dress a girl with around 2000-2500 Watts of light power.

Discarding the idea of using 12 volts cause of the extreme amount of amperes that would be involved i have to step back to a "normal" 220 volts system; ie: a car battery with a 12 to 220 volts stepup transformer.

Then a laptop, a gm5, a core, a dout, and a distribution box with a bunch of these

Now about the lights, different otions:

-normal bulbs at 220 volts connected in parallel

    -halogen lights at 220 volts

-halogen lights at 24 volts wired in series in group of 8

Anybody with similar experiences, any good advice?

  2. Hi

I have just built Seppos filters and since i am too damn broken to get and AOUT i ll be happy to have just a pot to controlcut and resonance.

Now before i explode the styroflex caps in my face, what level of voltage is expecting the cv in?

Can I hook up a single pot to control both channels or do i need a stereo pot?

I also assume the pot has to be wire has in a AIN, + and - on the 2 tips and sending the central pin to the filter s CV in.

  3. i just test it with a PSU with an output of 9V DC @ 500mA and am getting all the same results.

    what a surprise!

I would double check all the soldering joints, then when i am finished i would do it again.

I would double check all the components, values, position, direction, one by one, then when i am finished i would do it again.

    go to * twice

then let us know if you ve found anything wrong.

  4. [real story]

Jimmie, that remembers me of when i lived in Norway and one day they told me that one of my friends was in the hospital. I ve found her wearing a plastic dish (birthday party style) in her head wrapped around with a bath towel to "keep people from reading her mind". I also remember that the most alternative music she had in her car was Depeche Mode and that she owned a Jean Michelle Jarret concert in  VHS, with fireworks 'n' all. (I watched that stupid tape while dead mooses heads were watching at me in a lonesome red carpeted hunting hut in the middle of about nowhere, center Norway). That all to demonstrates my theory is just right.

it s rather difficult to be politically correct when you are in front of a pile of hot, stinky, humid, bubbling crap

RIAA hasn t been politically correct with you for decades so you don t need to be politically correct with them. Popular music is not what the people like better but what the RIAA has decided that people have to like

    on/off: on/off ;)

    Facci sapere

  8. hi

i know perfectly which resistor is gone, the little bastard blasted himself against the steel inside of the frontpanel, due to a broken power supply. It s FB8 or FB9

But i had an idea: if anybody had a unit and could measure or see the resistor and tell me the value that would be awesome.. maybe it s time to post at gearslut..
