  1. Hi: Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like the music. And yeah, our first album is on iTunes, but I didn´t have any MIDIboxes at that time. We recently finished our new album, but we don´t have label for it yet. In this one I used the MB SID in 8 of the 9 tracks. I love it.
  2. Hi: Here is a video interview of my band (a duo actually), is in spanish, sorry. At some point there are some takes at my studio, showing my synths, and some of my DIY ones of course. You can see: DIY ones: - Mini64 (MIDIbox SID in a shortened C64 case) (a good shoot of it) - MIDIbox 64 (32 knobs MIDI controller) - TR-9090 (909 clone) - micro noise (A kind of optical theremin) Non DIY: - Oberheim Matrix-1000 - Yamaha TX81Z - Boss DR-110 - Novation BassStation Rack - Roland Alpha Juno-1 - Roland Juno-106 - Korg MS-10 <a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=46627282">Transmision 03 Cosaquitos en Globo</a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=46627282,t=1,mt=video,searchID=eb2f731b-6fbc-4174-b3ce-fe5ebaad1b00,primarycolor=,secondarycolor="/><embed'>http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=46627282,t=1,mt=video,searchID=eb2f731b-6fbc-4174-b3ce-fe5ebaad1b00,primarycolor=,secondarycolor="/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=46627282,t=1,mt=video,searchID=eb2f731b-6fbc-4174-b3ce-fe5ebaad1b00,primarycolor=,secondarycolor=" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"/></object> http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=46627282 Hope you like it.
  3. Hi: I tried to do a donation but PayPal rejected my credit card, I spent too much this mont, I wil try again in a couple of weeks.
  4. Stripboard is an option, but since isn't a big effort to etch a small to medium size PCB myself, I usually go that way.
  5. Well... if you read my post about 3 or 4 post before this, you understand that the design of that thread don't fit my needs, because I want to keep the chip mounted in the original Ploytec PCB and I want a expansion PCB to mount in another box. Also at that thread says that you alredy designed de DIY etching PCB and links to a post of you, where there is a preview of the PCB, but only that. If you could post some eagle files, even if they aren't finished, I would apreciate it a lot. I'm not very good using eagle, but I could for sure modify or finish an already started project. Thank you.
  6. Yes, I look there, but that is a project to do a professionally made PCB, double sided, that is meant to solder the Ploytec chip directly on it, and there is no eagle files, jpg or pfd of the PCB design only an overview. Thanks anyway.
  7. Hi: Anybody finished the design of the expansion board PCB for DIY etching? There were some people working on it, and they even post some previews, but I don´t think I see the finished ones (eagle files, jpg, pdf, or whatever). I already have the chips and PCB by Ploytec, and I will start soldering soon (I need to practice a bit in SMD soldering). Later I want to start with the expansion. My idea is to mount the original pcb in a tiny enclosure to use with my notebook, and have a connector for the expansion (mounted in a bigger box) to use in my studio. Anyway, if somebody finished the design of the PCB, it will be great to have it. Thank you.
  8. I received mine yesterday. Thank you TK and Screaming Rabbit.
  9. Hi MTE: Nice idea of doing an I/O board. Can you share the Eagle files? Thanks
  10. HI: I choose the shipping via Switzerand, but I didn't recived any PM or PayPal invoice from Screaming_Rabbit yet. Are the invoices alredy sent? Thank you
  11. Hi: Check this site: http://www.angelfire.com/geek/srlabs/ There are 2 MIDI retrofit for Polysix with PCB & code.
  12. Hi: I'm in with 2/2 for now, but I think some of my friends will want one.

    saludos y problemas

Si estan correctos busca cortos o pistas cortadas. Espero puedeas encontrar el problema.
  14. Thanks TK and all !!! Glad you like the cases.
  15. Hi: I had a similar problem with my MB64, check this post: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,8663.msg60795.html#msg60795 not exactly the same problem, but may be put you in the right direction.
  16. Hi: No lasercut at all. I drawed a rectangle where the LCD will fit, then drilled holes close to the line, leaving minimum space between them. I used a cutting plier to cut between holes and take away the rectangle, then a file to smooth out the border. Very low tech :)
  17. Yes, it's a single SID one. The PSU didn't have any resin or strange stuff inside, but it was obviously repaired, so maybe someone did the cleaning before me. I don't have any pictures of the inside (I think), and since I don't have it anymore, I can't take any now. May be some day I go to Bruno's house and open it, but I don't think he let me do that :) Thanks for the comments.
  18. Hi I all: Recently I finished a MIDIbox SID for a friend (Bruno). I want to share some pics because the enclosure is a C64 power supply.
  19. Hi nILS Podewski: Thank you for your reply. The AOUT I´m building is the regular AOUT with MAX525 DACs. The post I was reffering was this: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,10412.0.html But I think I understand what TK means. I should connect +12 and -12 to both pair of pins around th TL074s, right? Thanks again.
  20. Hi: I´m about to build a MIDIbox CV using a AOUT module, as part of a modular synth I´m building. I have some questions: 1 - I want to add extra triggers using a DOUT as described here: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/how_to_use_midibox_cv_with_a_dout Will this mod work with version 1.2a of the MBCV firmware? 2 - Will this mod increase the latency of the MBCV? 3 - I read in a post that the AOUT PCB didn´t have the power connected to the chips and it has to be done with wires. Can anybody confirm?... and explain to what chips. That´s all for now. Thank you.
  21. Sebo

    MIDIbox CV V1.2

    That's great. Thank you.
  22. suital: Do you still have some MAX525? Thanks
  23. Thanks for the nice comments !!!
  24. Cheap and easy to find? I'm in. ;) I going to end building an 8 channel MIDIbox CV anyway. Thanks Seppoman again.
