Hello Community, I have problems getting my LCD to work properly. It just displays garbage as shown at the attached picture. Currently I've no idea whether this is a software issue/an incompatibility between MIOS firmware an the displays chipset or if there is a hardware problem with the display or the core module. I tried troubleshooting with the LCD interconnection test tool. Unfortunately all tests pass as exprected (5V only on the tested data pin etc.) I'm using PCBs from SmashTV (Core + SID) and MIOS V1.9g is running. The SID is working basically, means the default sound plays well via MIDI. Any help appreciated! TIA verpeiler

Hi, I have multiple PCBs from SmashTV and can't find the required ceramic caps in Germany. 1. SID R3a needs a ceramic cap 330 nF with 2.54LS at C10 2. Core R4d needs a ceramic cap 330 nF with 2.54LS at C6 TK proposed a Wima MKS-2 330n which is available at Reichelt, but this cap has a spacing of 5mm which won't fit the PCB. Could someone tell me a replacement part which is available in Germany (Reichelt and Conrad prefered). Many thanks in advance! :) cheers, verpeiler

Wärme mal den Thread hier auf... Wenn ich eine MB6582 bauen möchte, kann ich mit dem Reichelt Artikel ST 24C512 BN6 nichts anfangen, da dieser nur 2 Adressleitungen besitzt und alle EEPROMs an einem Bus hängen? Oder sind die auf mehrere (Cores?) verteilt? Hat sonst jemand einen Tip/Bezugsquelle für die 64k Teile in D? Danke und ciao, verpeiler

Hi, ich möchte in den nächsten Tagen damit beginnen eine MB-6582 zu bauen. Dafür muss ich natürlich zunächst die ganzen Teile samt Bezugsquellen zusammensuchen und ordern. Nun bin ich auf der Suche nach ein paar Leuten in Deutschland mit gleichem Vorhaben, zwecks Versandkosten sparen und Erfahrungsaustausch. Ich komme aus FFM, bin aber gelegentlich auch in Berlin, München oder Dresden unterwegs. Grüße, verpeiler
