  1. Here's what I have left: It was brought to my attention that the Ay3-8910 boards were overpriced I have changed the prices of them to reflect a more correct value. They have AY3-8912 chips on them. 2 ay3-8910 boards with chips 1 completed 1 partial $30 2 Mixer boards for the AY3-8910 boards 1 completed 1 partial $30 2 GM5 USB to Midi boards complete $30 1 ultracore board (core+ 4 IIC + 8 bankstick). The board has not been used at all. $15 Thank you all who have purchased the sold items.
  2. Looks like the MB6532 Main and CS completed boards, The SSM2044s, and the Aout-NGs are sold.
  3. I have the following items I need to sell. I have run out of money due to the US economy and regretfully need to recover some funds. All prices are in USD and do not include shipping. 1 MB6582 main board and CS boards with SID chips and all parts installed, also have the 4X16 display in Red. All it needs is a case and power supply (Option 1). I think I have $525.00 in it at this point. 1 unused MB6582 CS board. $20. I bought it from smashTV with the Main board and later found a completed one that I purchased from Futureman. 5 SSM2044 boards completed but missing the SSM chips. $150 for all. 1 MB OPL-3 board completed $25 1 Dout completed $15 1 Din completed $15 1 Ain completed $15 2 Aout NG completed $100 1 Core with 4685 pic completed $27 2 ay3-8910 boards with chips 1 completed 1 partial $50 2 Mixer boards for the ay3- 8910 boards 1 completed 1 partial $50 2 GM5 USB to Midi boards complete $30 1 ultracore board (core+ 4 IIC + 8 bankstick). The board has not been used at all. $15 All of the projects are either SmashTV kits or other boards that have been offered in these forums as group buys. None of them are home made boards. I would Sell the whole bunch as a single purchase for $1000. Power has never been applied to any of the above projects but I am confident that they will work with minimal effort. I have 40 years of electronic assembly and troubleshooting background. Let me know if I have permission. Additionally, are things like this only done through these forums or can I sell on ebay as well If I can't sell them here?
  4. I had the same problem. A workaround is to open them in the PC version and resave them. Then the mac version will open them. I used parallels to get the pc version, but you could probably use any of the emulators to do the same.
  5. I just got word from DW. I really feel bad now. He said that he's been out of commission because in the process of his marrow donation they found he has some kind of heart trouble. So, he is now back to work and will get back here with some activity soon. He told me to let those of us who were unaware of this know what's going on.
  6. When I purchased the boards (5), it was a package deal, boards and chips. I got the boards in good faith but am still waiting for the chips. At risk of being ostracized, I think Doug (whom I believe has the responsibility for the US distribution of the chips) has proven to be unreliable in this particular case. I also am waiting on panels for MB 6532 and the Midibox sequencer from him. I do realize that it will likely take a long time for the panels but mailing the chips ought to be far less time consuming. Oh well, I suppose I can always sell the stuff I have since the projects may never get completed.
  7. I have a couple of new questions. The new core board will obviously not have the infamous Eusart bug that prevented Midi from functioning correctly. 1) Does this mean that only iic midi out boards would be necessary since the new core should provide for 1 Midi in/out? 2) Could one perhaps use a gm5 board to provide the same function in place of the iic midi outs? thanks
  8. Awesome!!! I'll be anxiously waiting for the final release. thanks.
  9. I guess I did not make my question clear enough. I do not care whether the emulator can be made to have analog outs. I want to know if the final hardware build of MBSEQ V4 can have analog outs like the MBSEQ V3.4 can. (with an Aout board connected). I assume that analog can be added, to V4 but need to know for sure before I commit to building the MBSEQ V4 as opposed to building the MBSEQ 3.4 instead. However, Thanks for the information on how to add analog outs to the emulator if one needs to do that.
  10. "Most of the MBSEQ V3 features are now implemented on C, they are running on STM32 and they are accurately emulated under MacOS." Is Analog and gate outs one of the suported features left in? Perhaps not in the MacOS emulator but in the final build? I'm trying to decide whether to wait for this or to go ahead with the MBSEQ 3.4 instead. I like all of the features of the V4 but I need analog.
  11. As instructed by Doug; see the little icon on the lower left of any of Doug's posts? that is how to contact him. He's in California right now donating Bone Marrow, so give him a break. He told me He'd get it done as soon as he gets back home.
  12. Bugfight, Thanks for that simple explanation. I just did not realize the full potential of the SEQ. You have clarified it, and I will make this my next project after the MB6532 gets done. I just did not understand the 8 outputs thing. I was mistaking those for something else obviously. Thank you all for your input.
  13. Yes Tilted, that is exactly what I need. Sorry for the confusion. I understand the difference. To correct my original question then, how difficult would it be to add another 8 control voltage outs? I'd like to have all of the very cool features found in the SEQ V3.3 in addition to a killer analog sixteen step sequencer. There are definitely enough gate outputs already. Thanks for the replies.
  14. Futureman, I'll buy the board. I can pay right away. I only need a total with postage. I'm in NM, USA. thanks
  15. How difficult would it be to add another 8 analog outs for a total of 16 analog steps? I am trying to decide whether to build a MIDIbox SEQ or just to go with an analog sequencer. I only have a few digital synths and those already have sequencers built in (DSI evolver & PolyEvolver). Sorry if this question is in the wrong thread. thanks
