Hi wilba, Before seen that message about MBNet problem i have uploaded 0.rc34 to each pic through masterCore0 socket and after replaced them on there own socket. After i have formating 24LC512. When i use J11 i can't reach CoreX, i must mount Pic in MasterCore0 socket ... it's not normal i guess ! I have checked R80 but i have soldered it since the beginning. The problem is not here ! Ok i will check parts and pcb around that section !! I will let you know where is the problem ... I will try 0.35 !

I have downloaded this http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_sid/v2_editor/MBSIDV2_Editor_v0_5.zip and there's only one .jar file !! I think that's not in the good zip !! But where is the other with presets ? Thanks.

Yep thanks, very good concept for future gig cause of his little size but big sound. I'm sure that sammichSID will be friend with my MachineDrum !! It seems to be a good combo !

Yes !! i have resolved all my problems !! The last one was due to voltage of power suply, i've have increased the voltage and now sammichSID is completly functionnal !!! Now it's time to understand it and make some sound !!

Ok Wilba, thanks a lot it seems that it was a bad solder on JMI !! Now midi in is working :-) ! I have uploaded the file that you have joined into your mail, i have formatted bankstick ! Everything seems to be ok but when i install 6582 into their sockets when i power on, lcd is lightning but nothing is displayed ... Only light !! I have checked voltage into pin 14 and 28 and i have measured 8.93 V and not exactly 9V as you describe into your building guide !! Is it a problem ? Why nothing appeared when i have sid's inside ? Thanks for your precious help !

But is it normal that i have 5V on pin 6 of 6N138 ?

Hi Nils, To explain more precisly i'm on 7. Initial Testing and Firmware Upload step My midi out is working well but when i test my lcd with mios studio the word that i have written into "MIos lcd message" window doesn't display on my sammich Lcd. yep you're right about pins counting i was too tired last night !! Pin1 = 0-----Pin8 = 5 Pin2 = 0-----Pin7 = 0 Pin3 = 0-----Pin6 = 5 Pin4 = 0-----Pin5 = 0 - You do get the upload request in MIOS Studio? Yes - Your midi cables are connected correctly and working? Yes - The routing in MIOS Studio is correct for both the IN and the OUT? i suppose ! i have used first my sound card and after thru an elektron TM1 Same thing with both. I can send screen shot of mios studio midi device window that evening. Thanks for your interest.

Hi, i've finished to solder everything, i have tested all voltage and now it's time to connect it to my computer to upload soft !! When i power on sammichSID i've got the line from Mios 1.9g and after i try to test my lcd and nothing ! Midi in doesn't work :-( !! Midi out is good. I have checked voltage on IC2 (6N138) and i've got these voltage : Pin1 = 0-----Pin5 = 0 Pin2 = 0-----Pin6 = 5 ???? Pin3 = 0-----Pin7 = 0 Pin4 = 0-----Pin8 = 5 I have checked soldering and everything seems to be correct. What i have to test to resolve my problem ? Thanks.

Ok Wilba for the purpose, i have understood and to be sure that i don't miss me, the leds are blinking in function of sound for each sid ? They blink left to the right ? I ask you that because i see that for the right leds block but for the left one it's not very clear !! It's just to be sure to do not make error when i solder them ... It's a vu-meter, isn't it ? Thanks. K.
