Ich würde dir auf alle Fälle zu dem GM5 raten! In meinem Seq schlummert jetzt auch eines. Ich nutze zwar nur den 1. In/Out, aber dafür habe ich 16 Midikanäle die ich in Live frei belegen kann ohne ein zusätzliches Midikabel oder ein Midiport zu verschwenden! Die Mios-Studio komatibilität kommt noch dazu. Also die 10,-€ sollten dir nicht wehtun! Marco

Falls du es nicht eilig hast, würde ich dir auch zu den PCB´s von SmashTv raten. Einige Lötfehler sind bei mir auch dadurch entstanden das es keine Lötstopmaske gab. Falls du also noch nicht so gut im Umgang mit dem Lötkolben bist, dann greif bei Smash zu! Das du vorerst noch en alten PIC-Core verwendst würde ich nicht als Nachteil sehen! Wenn der neue Core zur Verfügung steht kannst du das alte Core-Modul einfach für ein weiteres Projekt wiederverwenden. Schrittmacher

STM32 ist zur Zeit leider noch nicht verfügbar! Du kannst aber später mit ein paar kleinen Veränderungen auf den CoreV4 Updaten. Für den Anfang ist ein Core Modul mit PIC wohl besser zum loslegen! Und hab keine Angst, viele "Newbees haben das auch geschafft, dann denke ich sollte das für dich auch kein Problem sein. Wenn du Fragen hast, dann einfach im Forum fragen! Kleiner Tipp noch zum Anfang: Wenn du fertig gelötest hast, dann erstmal alle Spannungen prüfen bevor du den PIC einsetzt. Einfach alles Durchchecken, und wenn du damit fertig bist am besten nochmals prüfen. Aus Erfahrung kann ich sagen, das beim Löten die meisten Fehler gemacht werden. Kalte Lötstellen sind wohl die häufigste Ursache für Fehler! Also viel Spass und "watch out your fingers"! Marco

Ok Girls and Guys, just my 5 cent for this Thread. After a few Mails with TK i had a request for a special funktion that called "Shift Sequence" Shift means: I had a Simple Sequence with 4 Steps 1->2->3->4 .... when i activate this funktion the order is: 1->2->3->4 4->1->2->3 3->4->1->2 2->3->4->1 after this 4 cycles he begins with the original sequence A famous musician called Klaus Schulze from Germany spoke about this in the 1970 years he used this on his analog sequencer moog model Q960. This can be combined with random: the sequenced got shifted with a randomize stepsize and cycle. Track Cycle: means, the sequence got shifted after "x" durations, maybe 1-16 or more. Stepsize: Shifting with a value from 1-32 For example: Track Cycle 1 Stepsize 2 he starts with 1->2->3->4 after one cycle 3->4->1->2 next 1->2->3->4 again and again I hope that was understandable? I have a Problem with Live and My Seq! When the BOx is in Slave Modus and i Start Ableton Live everything is fine. The Box is running and perfect in sync! When i push the stop button on the box and start again the box is not in sync and coming back into the sync. What´s going wrong? Is it an Bug ? Problem with Live? When i stop Live and start again then it works again! Anybody here the same problem? Marco

After a few Weeks of hard Work and Troubleshooting (Thank´s TK) my Midibox is finally Running. My Design is a little bit customize for the Switches.I use the Digitast from Reichelt! The Response with these types of Switches is great, an she have the LED integrated) The Frontpanel is not the Final one. But it was an good Idea to reqalize this from a 2,5 mm Cardboard. It covers me for a big trouble with the gaps of the Switches. Specs: 3x I2C 1x Gm5 USB That means..... 4x Midi Out + 2x Midi In ( 1x Midi In-Out via USB connected on J11 ) Ok an Finally here are the Pics

Ok, first to do is remove all registers and check the vd vss sc and s1 rc lines on the sockets then check all against vss for shorts your problem sound thta you have an short o an cold soldering pin somewhere on your board at least check the lines from the core to your board the same for the core board... ckeck all pins to a proper vd and vss then check the connections to all pins of the connectors. i now troubleshooting is boring, but necessary :-) some strange behaivior on my MB Seq cames from cold soldering pins on the DINX4 boards an at last...... check again when you think you are done :-) i hope thats is helpful Marco

Hallo Midiboxler, ich habe ein großes Problem!. Seit dem ich die neue Firmware 3.4f aufgespielt habe, geht garnix mehr. Zuerst waren alle möglichen Buttons und LED Belegungen durcheinander. Dann hab ich nochmals versucht eine andere Firmware aufzuspielen! Die mit der Bezeichnung "setup_mbseq_wilba.hex" zuvor die setup_mbseq.hex. Ich weiß nicht mehr weiter! Der Core nimmt keine weiteren Uploads an und die Displays zeigen entweder garnix oder ganz schwach irgendwelche kryptischen sachen. i dont now exactly what is your problem, but i think the voltage is to low. the stabilize circuit on the core module needs min. 7,0 volts for a proper funktion. you need min 2,0 Volt between 5 Volt circuit voltage and the voltage on your PSU!
