With a bit of confidence you can strip surface mount off boards. It often helps to clamp the board vertically and run a cow's hoof iron tip up and down one side while prising that side slightly off the board. The other side is then easy. OK, maybe your mum did, but nowhere in this thread do I see a mention that you need to expose the solution and your material under UV light, otherwise you can end up with brittle material with a white bloom and micro-pits in it. What particular UV source did your mum teach you to use?

I am about to embark upon building this project as I have a bunch of the OPL3 chipsets, but the one thing I cannot see anywhere is a schematic for the MIDIbox FM. Does one exist?
