Hi I all:

Recently I finished a MIDIbox SID for a friend (Bruno). I want to share some

pics because the enclosure is a C64 power supply.

You did that?! I was in shock after opening PSU and had problem with simple cable change! You're crazy if you taken out all resin (or whatever that hard, big, milk-coloured block inside is)! Outside looks great. Any photos of boards?

Yes, it's a single SID one.

The PSU didn't have any resin or strange stuff inside, but it was obviously

repaired, so maybe someone did the cleaning before me.

I don't have any pictures of the inside (I think), and since I don't have it

anymore, I can't take any now. May be some day I go to Bruno's house

and open it, but I don't think he let me do that :)

Thanks for the comments.

Nice work.

I wish my friends would make me cool synths... actually, that would take the fun out. For me, at least half the fun is in the building. ;)

Hi:

No lasercut at all. I drawed a rectangle  where the LCD will fit, then drilled holes

close to the line, leaving minimum space between them. I used a cutting plier to

cut between holes and take away the rectangle, then a file to smooth out the

border.

Very low tech :)
