Futureman Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Oh my oh my oh my oh my...I fired this sucker up with a synth last night for the first time!!!It's looking pretty good (No case, but a pile of breadboards & buttons) and I'm pretty glad that this has come together without any major hitches.. a few small probs here and there, but mainly down to wiring incorrectly..One small tip i've learnt.. - When you are soldering buttons upside down and behind then, the order is not always what it appears to be . lol.Anyway.. to the prob.I managed to get it so that I could change notes etc, but now, when I turn it on and press any of the step buttons or turn any of the 16 encoders i get this "No Pattern selected on current tracks" error.Everything else is working prefectly, the menu, mutes ra ra ra.. I know it's gonna be a simple answer, but I'm SOOOOOO close, and maybe it's the lack of sleep, but I can't work it out.I have NOT wired up the banksticks.. could this be the reason?FYI, i've now wired up ALL buttons, and I still can't get rid of this... (I thought it might have been the 1-4 or A-C buttons)Any help would be much appreciated..RegardsMike Quote
swindus Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Go to the pattern screen and select pattern A2. This is the only pattern that can be edited when no bankstick is connected. This is how it works for me without connected banksticks. Quote
Futureman Posted April 26, 2008 Author Report Posted April 26, 2008 Brilliant.. 1x Fat bankstick coming up.RegardsMike Quote
