runinit Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 How many do you have left? I also cannot access the pictures you took of the switch, got any nice macro shots?
Doug Wellington Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) I still have over 600... :turned: I'll check the pictures when I get home tonight... Edited July 13, 2010 by Doug Wellington
runinit Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I basically just get a 403 on http://www.midiboxaddict.com/parts Let me know :) Because i'm seriously considering switching out all my switches if I think these ones will look better. There are some pictures on the site; but I seem to trust photos from members more than the website ones (action shots!!!) Thanks again
Doug Wellington Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 I used to have the midiboxaddict stuff hosted in my account at mac.com. Then Apple started messing things up for me ("me.com"??? Why would I possibly want to be dougwellington@me.com??? Ugh! And I'm not sure Apple even cares about the Mac any more anyway...) I moved the web page over to a different server, but forgot to put in the subdirectories... I just uploaded those three pictures of the Marquardt switches to my flickr account:
runinit Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Hahaha, no worries my friend. I downloaded their catalogue and found all the technical drawings that I was looking for (yay for 3D design). I'll let you know if I need to order some of them, they may be too big though (5mm extra adds up after a while ;)). Your controller is awesome BTW, I hope my ableton controller compares.
ilmenator Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) Just to add my 2 cents, these switches are awesome - I desoldered about 150 or so of them from older equipment, as they give a very nice tactile feedback. Also, they are still quite stylish - especially with the 3mm LED in one of the corners. Edited July 15, 2010 by ilmenator
