Futureman Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Hey all..I'm helping a mate with his sequencer, and we got this panel back from the laser cutters..I'll post more pics when it's stuffed etc.. It's going to have all panel mount buttons - It'll be pretty much bullet proof.RegardsMike Quote

Futureman Posted March 4, 2009 Author Report Posted March 4, 2009 oh.. forgive my manners. It likes long walks along the beach, and candle lit dinners. It's looking for a friend, with possible options for a stronger relationship. It was drawn by me using AutoCad & made by Rick Tait at www.lcne.com.auHe's located in the outer reaches of Sydney. (Australia)Including postage, the case cost about $140 AU.. (I can't remember exactly -- somewhere between $120 & $150)It's made out of 1.2mm galv coated mild steel.. It'll get painted white with nice timber sides. The buttons are black, with built in red LED's.As mentioned in my other 'work in progress' post for my MB-6582, If anyone here is going to use him (In Australia or even NZ) make sure you mention my name (Mike) and this Synth DIY forum.. I would be good if we can get a good relationship with him.. maybe even, for some projects, look into a bulk order if the right project comes along..I'm looking at re-building one of my sequencers with him and also getting the face for mu UREI 1176 clone done via him.RegardsMike Quote
Futureman Posted March 5, 2009 Author Report Posted March 5, 2009 Looking good. Did you band it by hand? No, I got the laser cutter (Rick) to fold it.CheersMike Quote
