crankit
Because the my E-70 doesn't have after touch I'm wondering about the idea of linking up old yamaha midi keyboards that already have after touch with a pedalboard to run miditzerIs there some kind of interface where you plug in midi outs from each keyboard and the pedal board all into one module or box that would then connect into a soundcard like my EMU1212M.Id like to use miditzer and make use of the second touch by using the after touch of the keyboards. I'm new to this so please forgive me for being a Nube. Heres a layout. Is there something out there like that box with the question marks? This seems like a cheap way of making this happen. sparx
You need a MIDI Merge unit, takes multiple outs and merges them to one which you connect to your PC.S
nILS
...throw in some MIDI splitters and you're all set. Or go with the uubercool MIDIbox Router :-)
johnh
Or get multiple MIDI<->USB interfaces and let Miditzer handle the 'merging'.
