Hello

ive finally got round to finishing the new mixer layout for my all in one midibox (see pics)

im stuck as i dont know how to connect the jog shuttles

  heres the data sheethttp://www3.alps.com/WebObjects/catalog.woa/E/PDF/Switch/Encoder/SRGP/SRGP.PDF

ive been reading this and wild weasels build log for his dennon controller, but i just cant make sense of it.

There are eight connectors on each jog shuttle

          1          2          3        c1          4          j2          c2              j1

on normal buttons (din) theres one ground pin and one send pin ,so if these jog shuttle act like four buttons in mios which pins are the ground and which pins are the send?

any help would be appreciated as its become frustrating so near yet so far

regards kris

c1 and c2 (common pin?) are the ground pins.

all the other pins go to one input pin on the DIN module.

J1 and J2 are the pins of the encoder (rotary thing in the middle)

the other 4 pins belong to the shuttle ring.

that's it. You need to do some programming though to make them work, f.e. with the C interface.

regards,

michael
