Nat Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Hello, I plan to mount my swtiches and leds on vectorboard and I'd like to know what's the best way to do it, like on this photo :Would it be possible to have a photo of the other side of the board ? Would help a lot,Thanks,Nat Quote
Steven_C Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 this looks like a vgectorboard made by TK, from before he had access to PCB's. Have a look at my midibox photos in the gallery, or also in the midibox of the week thread, to see how I mounted the LED's and buttons, I ran wires straight from the back of the vectorboard to header pins on the PCB'sgood luck, from Steve ;) Quote
Nat Posted August 3, 2003 Author Report Posted August 3, 2003 But how does the components stay on the board ? Only with the wire or with some glue ?Thanks,Nat Quote
TK. Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 They are soldered to the copper pads on the opposite side:Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
