Hello, I plan to mount my swtiches and leds on vectorboard and I'd like to know what's the best way to do it, like on this photo :

Would it be possible to have a photo of the other side of the board ?  Would help a lot,

Thanks,

Nat

this looks like a vgectorboard made by TK, from before he had access to PCB's.

Have a look at my midibox photos in the gallery, or also in the midibox of the week thread, to see how I mounted the LED's and buttons, I ran wires straight from the back of the vectorboard to header pins on the PCB's

good luck, from Steve ;)

But how does the components stay on the board ? Only with the wire or with some glue ?

Thanks,

Thanks :)

The vector board at my store doesn't have any solder pads that's why I didn't get it ..

Thanks ;) I get it now, I'll just have to find some vector board of the good size with solderpad....  the only stuff I see hear is without pads or too small :(

What's the cost of these things at your local store?

Here it is 5euro for 160x120... that's pretty expensive if you want to mount all your pots and encoders this way.

I don't know for steve but the stuff here is around 1$ for 20cm*20cm.  Problem is that I can't find anything larger than that :(
