JRock Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Hope you like it!! Thanks!
Imp Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I like it! It perfectly fits my mood today. It's also something special, cause you don't find melancholic chiptune on every corner ;)
JRock Posted September 30, 2010 Author Report Posted September 30, 2010 Thanks Imp. I'm glad you liked it.
Smithy Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Needz moar vocoder! THe drums are really cool. Love the modulation on the bass, what are you triggering there?
taximan Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Cool...sounds like human league meets depeche mode (that's a compliment btw)
JRock Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Thanks. Smithy - I'm just using the porta. I got the DAC up pretty high. It was the first sound I made with my Box. I was in too much of a rush to run my vocs through Vocoder. A good idea though.
Imp Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Please don't ;) Or maybe on another track, but this one would loose something, if you gave your voice a synthetic character. when i heard it the 1st time, i actually expected a vocoded voice ( or none at all) and was kinda surprised.

I don't think I really will. I got the voc's exactly how I want them. Real human and intimate. Organic but stark. Like an open wound. It compliments the electronic nature of the synth. Although these SIDs really have an organic feel to them as well. They are far from dead and cold. Thanks
san4os Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Something like music from Silent Hill the game =) Nice!
